Hello!!!

Yesterday was a special day for Douglas and I which is why I would like to share some of our story with you.

Three years ago, Douglas got down on one knee and proposed to me in front of our closest family members <3

Douglas and I share a very unique love-story with many milestones that will remain unforgettable in our lives and have brought us where we are today:

26 September 2012

We first Met in Las Vegas, USA.

19 April 2014

We got engaged in Cologne, Germany.

20 January 2015

I moved to Dallas, USA.

24 January 2015

We got married (officially) in Las Vegas, USA.

26 September 2015

We got married (with Family & Friends) at the Renaissance Island, Aruba.

27 May 2016

We added the cutest little puppy “Vegas” to our family.

We have learned to fight through many difficult times (being apart on the opposite side of the world for the first 2.5 years of our relationship most likely being the most difficult), but at the same time we have learned to be grateful for the littlest things and celebrate every accomplishment down the road.

This is why we made the decision to renew our vows every year, at a different location. It does not only give us a little get-away every year, but it will also always remind us of the commitment we made to each other on the first day we met, when we got engaged, when we got married (twice), and when we added our puppy to our lives.

Life has definitely kept us busy over the past 5 years, but we have learned to be patient, to work hard, to believe in ourselves, to trust in god, and to never give up on our dreams.

Some people may think it is crazy that we are celebrating basically every of the above mentioned milestones in our lives, but for us these days will always have a special place in our hearts.

I am so thankful for to share my life with my soulmate and best friend and for another day that we were able to celebrate our love with each other.

I cannot wait to plan this year’s anniversary trip!!!
