Romantic Wedding At La Cour In Texas

We are so thrilled to share this La Cour wedding with you today! And it is difficult to believe that we shot this entire wedding during a monsoon. The access road to the venue was closed due to flooding the morning of the wedding day. And it rained all day while a cold front seemed make its way into Dallas.

But when we opened the doors to the venue the weather was all forgotten about. Candle lights brightening up the tall ceilings. The smell of fresh flower arrangements on the tables. And a table full of love. Our hearts beating faster. Walking by a legacy. Of. Love. Pictures of multiple generations. From both families. Married for a total of over 200+ years. Goosebumps. And when we just thought to be in a dream we were brought back to reality. Elise & Dominic’s parents welcomed us with a warm hug. Big smiles. And pure excitement. No one was worried about the weather. We were here to celebrate. A love-story. So unique and beautiful. Formed by generations of kindness. Generosity. And unconditional love.

Similar to their engagement session, throughout the wedding day, we felt some drops running down our cheeks. Not from the rain. But happy tears. Tears of joy. And pure satisfaction. Being able to witness and capture such a strong bond between two people, two families, and multiple generations has been one of the greatest privliledges that has ever been given to us.

Elise and Dominic it was such a joy and honor for us to witness the love you have for each other and your families. We are so grateful for meeting you and celebrating this milestone of your relationship. We hope these pictures will be passed onto more generations. Continuing to tell a story. And to show a legacy of love.
